ILI-L Information Literacy Instruction Listserv
ILI-L was created in May 2002 as a replacement for BI-L. ILI-L is hosted by the American Library Association. Archives are available.

BI-L
Note: BI-L ended in 2002 and was replaced by ILI-L.

A searchable archive is still available.

"BI-L is a computer conference dedicated to discussing ways of assisting library users in efficiently exploiting the resources available in and through the library of the 1990s."

"Contributors to the forum deal with the practical, theoretical, and technical aspects of what has been called Bibliographic Instruction, Library Use Instruction, Library Orientation, and several other names. They examine, explore, critique, appraise and evaluate strategies, programs, and equipment that they have found to be valuable (or not) in working toward the goal of the self-sufficient library user." (from the BI-L information file)
